6.2 helped a State Government create a better understanding of online social networks, creating a platform for the governments online policy and adaption to social networking and online innovation.

In 2010, 6.2 worked with an Australian bank identifying internal impediments/ burdens and helped to reduce red tape, giving the bank more time to focus on running
the organisation.

6.2 discovered the NSW Water website was not engaging with older users and developed an online strategy for NSW water to engage and communicate with varying demographics in a simplified online solution.

6.2 helped one of the worlds largest footwear brands based in South America develop a platform to extend the brand beyond, focusing on bags, eyewear and extensions of the core line. 6.2 facilitated the strategic plan with a roll out of the brands prototypes in emerging markets.

The 6.2 Innovation Process

6.2 embarks on discovery journey with the company, stake holders, executive teams looking at the business, performance, opportunities, existing or potential problems and corporate culture.

We gather intelligence and get a clear understanding of your actual market position. We look closely at the aspirational market position, company strategy, business objectives, operational parameters, business assets, company initiatives, market trends and behaviours and existing technologies.

This is usually a lot of fun... however, for some this can be a real eye opener.

The team at 6.2 go to work on consumer & commercial insights through market research.

We work internally on idea development, look at existing internal knowledge and the market in which the client operates to get a clear understanding of the opportunities and impediments on both a global and local scale to be well positioned to produce strategic and operational improvement recommendations.

The entire idea, project or concept is road tested with the 6.2 team.

The 6.2 strategic team drives the refinement of the projects creating really big, really clear doable innovation.

We compile a document (set of ideas and recommendations), gathering information from stage 1+2 based on the qualitative research into a report that will drive the company forward, breathing life into the ideas, creating a culture of innovation, focusing on top line growth in the business.

Simple. Through an internal workshop with the client, these recommendations are road tested for commercialisation internally or in the market.

These are your ideas, with a plan and a clear path to make them happen.

Following a detailed internal review, consumer research and 6.2 internal interrogation, we prepare the final plan for the client to implement and execute based bringing the project to life.
